The drummer that played 18 years with Redbone

Thunderhand Joe played with Redbone from the eighties through the nineties. He started in 1981 at the age of 21 and left the band in 1998 although he continued to play with them till 2000

Joe says: “The band and the music and the members of the band have ment so much to me. And over the years, as I look back, it's like I keep finding treasure my time as the drummer for The Band. My time and friendship with each member was an awesome experience, it was really a dream come true for me. There were good times and there were bad times such as life. But we did it. And I'd do it again.”
